ABOUT US

Founder, Tim Teehan, has been around the ice business his whole life. He first found his love for the business when he began working full time during the summer at his father's ice company in 1994 when he was in high school.

Tim’s grandfather, Harold Teehan II, first began selling ice in 1972 and founded Tinley Ice Company located in Tinley Park, Illinois. Tim’s father, Harry Teehan III, took over the business and then Tim began working there from a very young age.

Tim did almost every job imaginable at Tinley Ice Company including loading customers' cars, bagging, selling, and being a company driver. Tim became the Vice President of the company and then eventually the owner. Tinley Ice Company grew and expanded, eventually servicing the whole Chicagoland area until 2017.

Tim, his wife Crystal and their two kids fell in love with Southwest Michigan and decided to move their family to the area. They started Lakeshore Ice in 2023 with the desire to bring their experience and expertise in

providing superior service and high-quality product to their customers.
